About Dr. Garvin

Dr. Garvin is a graduate of the University of Georgia and the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. He works hard to stay abreast of the latest advances in Dental Sleep and participates in regular continuing education seminars and advanced training courses. Dr. Garvin is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Central District Dental Society, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He is proud to hold the distinction of being an American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine Qualified Dentist. Dr Garvin has received the prestigious Honorable Fellow award from the Georgia Dental Association for his dedication and service to the GDA and the patients of the state of Georgia. Dr. Garvin is a past Georgia Dental Association Trustee, the Past President of the Central District Dental Society, the past state chair of the Young Dentist’s in Georgia and is currently active as a delegate to the Georgia Dental Association and chair of the Central District Delegation. Dr. Garvin is a graduate of the Leadership GDA class of 2012. He has also served as a long time board member of the Rehoboth Volunteer Dental Clinic and currently volunteers by serving patients of the Macon Rescue Mission and with Donated Dental Services.

It is because of Dr. Cameron Garvin’s dedication to improvement and growth in all areas of Dental Sleep Medicine that our Macon and Middle Georgia area dental sleep patients receive the most advanced, efficient, and effective care available.

In addition to Dr. Garvin’s dedication to the Dental Sleep Medicine community, he is an active member of the community in Macon and the surrounding areas. Dr. Garvin is married to Katie and they have three children, Reese, Calder, and Mathews Monroe. He is an active member of First Presbyterian Church where he currently serves on the Diaconate. Dr Garvin also is a past member of numerous community boards including Historic Macon, Hay House, First Presbyterian Day School, and The Fuller Center for Housing Macon. Dr. Garvin is also a graduate of the Leadership Macon class of 2015.
